V - Trays for Freezing and Handling Tuna Products

Tuna Technologies, Inc. introduces solutions designed specifically for handling and freezing tuna products.

V – Trays

V – Trays freezing forms are made of 304 stainless steel and maintain the natural shape of tuna loins throughout the freezing process. As derived from the name “V” trays preserve the fresh “V” shape of tuna loins when frozen and subsequently defrosted.

Flat-cut surfaces of the loin are kept smooth and straight. Corners remain sharp as if they were freshly cut from the whole tunas. The delicate crown of the tuna loin is protected. (Photo of Tuna loin)

Preserving the natural shape of tuna loins is not only aesthetically pleasing, but additional benefits include higher yields when the loins are cut into finished products (Steaks, Saku, Poke, etc.). The quality of end products are greatly improved.

V – Trays (Portable)

Portable V – trays are sturdy, but lightweight, with rigid end supports for easy handling. Each tray supports 2 loins at 25 pounds each, 50 pounds per tray. Portable V – trays are ideal for moderate production volume.

V – Trays (Mass Production)

Mass production V – Trays are designed as a component of our Universal Rack System to handle large volumes of fish. Each tray supports 2 loins 25 pounds each, totaling 50 pounds per tray.

Flat Trays

Flat trays are a multipurpose tool for handling and freezing various types of products, including saku, steaks, poke cubes, and ground meat, among other items. They are strong, with steel rod edge support, yet lightweight. Each tray has a capacity of 16 pounds.
